COMMUNICATION GUIDELINES
At Coastal FC, we proudly serve over 4,000 members across more than 250 teams. Effective communication is essential to keeping our community informed and connected. To support this, we’ve created communication guidelines to ensure that everyone stays updated and engaged.
Here’s how we maintain clear and consistent communication:​​​

Club Responsibilities:

Inform team coaches & managers in case of weather-related cancellations or changes; notifications will be sent via email.

Provide a general update about Schedule Changes/Weather Cancellations via website & social media.

Communicate with the City of Surrey to evaluate field conditions regularly, usually on Thursday mornings.

Communicate internally with our operations staff about field conditions every other day.

Coaches /Managers Responsibilities:

Team Coaches/Managers need to inform parents about practices, games, and any changes as soon as possible via email or via team messaging app/group.

Team Coaches/Managers are encouraged to regularly check their emails, the game schedule website, and Coastal FC social media pages to stay updated on important announcements and updates.
